P PT ABC adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi beberapa jenis rantaidalam jumlah besar, dan salah satu jenis rantai yang menjadi fokus utama penelitianini ialah Rantai 428H. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan dalam memproduksiRantai 428H yaitu tidak tercapainya target produksi dari bulan Juni hingga Juli, danSeptember hingga November 2021. Penelitian dilakukan dengan fokus padameminimasi manufacturing lead time menggunakan lean manufacturing yangbertujuan mengidentifikasi dan mengeliminasi waste pada proses produksi Rantai428H dengan cara memberikan usulan perbaikan berdasarkan jenis waste yangteridentifikasi. Penelitian diawali dengan perhitungan sampel waktu untuk waktubaku, lalu manufacturing lead time, process cycle efficiency, penggunaan WasteAssessment Model untuk identifikasi waste, dan pemetaan current value streammapping. Hasil perhitungan menunjukan manufacturing lead time awal sebesar832,95 menit dan process cycle efficiency sebesar 63,37%. Penggunaan WAMmenunjukan hasil bahwa persentase waste tertinggi ialah defect, lalu urutan diikutidengan motion, inventory, waiting, overproduction, motion, dan process. Usulanperbaikan yang diberikan berupa perancangan SOP Operator pada mesin Pressing,penambahan alat bantu Small Incline Belt Conveyor, perancangan SOP Aktivitas diArea WIP, dan penambahan alat bantu Manual Hand Stacker. Pemberian usulanperbaikan menghasilkan manufacturing lead time turun 12% yaitu menjadi733,2174 menit dan process cycle efficiency bertambah 8,6% menjadi 71,98%, sertatotal produksi per bulan angka meningkat sebanyak 12% yaitu dari 21.783 unit perbulan menjadi 24.746 unit per bulan.

P PT ABC is a manufacturing company that produces several types of chains in largequantities, and one type of chain that is the main focus of this research is the 428Hchain. The obstacle faced by the company in producing the 428H Chain is notachieving the production target from June to July, and September to November2021. The research was conducted with a focus on minimizing manufacturing leadtime using lean manufacturing which aims to identify and eliminate waste in the428H Chain production process by providing suggestions for improvements basedon the identified waste types. The research begins with calculating the sample timefor standard time, then manufacturing lead time, process cycle efficiency, using theWaste Assessment Model for waste identification, and mapping current valuestream mapping. The calculation results show that the initial manufacturing leadtime is 832.95 minutes and the process cycle efficiency is 63.37%. The use of WAMshows that the highest percentage of waste is defect, then the sequence is followedby motion, inventory, waiting, overproduction, motion, and process. The proposedimprovements are in the form of designing SOP Operators on Pressing machines,adding Small Incline Belt Conveyor tools, designing SOPs for Activities in the WIPArea, and adding Manual Hand Stacker tools. Provision of improvement proposalsresulted in manufacturing lead time decreasing by 12% to 733.2174 minutes andprocess cycle efficiency increasing by 8.6% to 71.98%, and total production permonth increasing by 12%, from 21,783 units per month to 24,746 units per month.
