M Missing teeth is a common problem, this can be caused by caries, periodontitis, imperfect tooth growth, and accident. Many patients who lost their teeth wish to replace them with prostheses that having the similarity in form and the color as the original teeth. The purpose of prostheses is to replace the missing teeth and to achieve properly in phonetic, mastication and also esthetic. Nowadays, with advanced technology of dentures material, protheses can be created with flexible partial denture. Flexible partial denture is the first prostheses without clasp, it made from nylon thermoplastic with similar color of the molar soft tissue is used as the basic material. Flexible partial denture can combined with denture metal framework to get well in function and esthetic. For patients alergic to acrylic, flexible partial denture is an ideal substitute for partially removable prostheses. Considering the advantages mentioned above, flexible partial denture is good to be used as partially removeable prostheses.
