T The advancement of technology in the footwear industry drives the need forrunning shoes that are not only functionally excellent but also carry culturalaesthetics and identity. this final project designs gps-based running shoeswith an integrated system, using a design approach inspired by the visualcharacteristics of wayang bima as a representation of indonesian localculture. the research follows the design thinking method, covering thestages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. data were collectedthrough runner behavior observation, user needs analysis, and visualstudies of the bima character. the final design focuses on ergonomics, anembedded gps system located in the heel cap, and distinct visual elementssuch as the pancanaka claws and bima\\\'s crown, applied to the upper of theshoes. the design uses a contemporary-minimalist style to remain relevantin modern markets. this product is expected to offer an innovative solutionthat combines athletic performance, smart technology, and the preservationof cultural heritage.
