L Lumpur pemboran memiliki peran penting dalam proses pemboran, khususnya dalam hal pengangkatan cutting dari dasar sumur ke permukaan. sifat fisik lumpur pemboran seperti densitas, plastic viscosity, yield point, pola aliran, flow rate (q) dan rate of penetration (rop) memiliki peranan penting dalam proses sirkulasi lumpur pemboran pada pengangkatan cutting ke permukaan. jika pengangkatan cutting tidak optimal, ini dapat menyebabkan cutting mengendap kembali ke dasar sumur, sehingga dapat menimbulkan masalah dalam proses pemboran. seperti penggerusan cutting berulang kali oleh pahat (regrinding), penurunan laju penetrasi, pipa terjepit atau stuck pipe dan penggunaan jenis lumpur yang tidak tepat akan berdampak pada kebersihan lubang bor. lumpur pemboran juga berpengaruh terhadap penentuan kecepatan, efisiensi, keselamatan, dan biaya selama operasi pemboran berlangsung. maka dari itu, diperlukan evaluasi menyeluruh terhadap kinerja lumpur dalam mengangkat cutting, terutama untuk memastikan lubang bor tetap bersih dan bebas dari akumulasi cutting yang dapat mengganggu operasi. maksud dan tujuan dari evaluasi pengangkatan cutting ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan dari lumpur pemboran dalam mengangkat cutting ke permukaan yang ada pada sumur mg-21 lapangan sg pada trayek 12 ¼†dan 8 ½â€.dalam penulisan tugas akhir ini akan dievaluasi pengangkatan cutting oleh lumpur pemboran yang digunakan pada sumur mg-21 lapangan sg pada trayek 12 ¼ inch dan 8 ½ inch dengan menggunakan tiga metode yang digunakan adalah ctr (cutting transport ratio), cca (cutting capacity in annulus), dan cci (cutting carry index). ctr (cutting transport ratio) merupakan rasio atau persentase dari lumpur yang berhasil mengangkat cutting, cca (cutting capacity in annulus) menggambarkan seberapa banyak cutting yang ada pada saat berada di annulus, dan cci (cutting carry index) metode ini diterapkan untuk mengevaluasi apakah proses cutting lifting telah berfungsi secara optimal. masing – masing metode mempunyai kriteria keberhasilan sendiri, dimana cci (cutting carry index) > 1, ctr (cutting transportation ratio) > 50%, dan cca (cutting concentration in annulus) < 5%.evaluasi pengangkatan cutting pada sumur mg-21 lapangan sg telah memenuhi kriteria pengangkatan cutting yang baik, pada trayek 12 ¼†dengan metode cci (cutting carry index) didapatkan hasil 4,069 – 52,911, metode ctr (cutting transportation ratio) didapatkan nilai 59,444% – 98,643% dan pada metode cca (cutting concentration in annulus) didapatkan nilai 1,462%- 2,952%, dan untuk trayek 8 ½“ dengan metode cci (cutting carry index) didapatkan hasil 4,858% – 27,828, metode ctr (cutting transportation ratio) didapatkan nilai 83,615% - 96,964%, dan pada metode cca (cutting concentration in annulus) didapatkan nilai 0,367% – 0,997%.berdasarkan pada hasil evaluasi bahwa penggunaan lumpur pemboran yang digunakan dari segi sifat fisik seperti densitas, plastic viscosity, yield point serta parameter seperti flowrate pompa dan rate of penetration (rop) yang digunakan pada sumur mg-21 lapangan sg dapat mengangkat cutting secara baik dari annulus hingga ke permukaan dan tidak ditemukannya pengendapan cutting di dasar sumur juga menjadi indikator bahwa sistem sirkulasi dan desain lumpur yang digunakan efektif dan sesuai, lumpur mampu menjaga kondisi lubang bor tetap bersih dari endapan material pemboran selama operasi pemboran ini berlangsung. keberhasilan ini mendukung kelancaran operasi pemboran secara menyeluruh dan dapat meminimalkan potensi risiko selama operasi pemboran akibat permasalahan hole cleaningkata kunci : cca (cutting capacity in annulus); cci (cutting carry index); ctr (cutting transport ratio); lumpur pemboran
D Drilling mud plays an important role in the drilling process, especially in lifting cuttings from the bottom of the well to the surface. the physical properties of drilling mud such as density, plastic viscosity, yield point, flow pattern, pump flow rate and rate of penetration (rop) play an important role in the drilling mud circulation process in lifting cuttings to the surface. if the cuttings lifting is not optimal, this can cause the cuttings to settle back to the bottom of the well, which can cause problems in the drilling process. such as repeated grinding of drill cuttings by the chisel (regrinding), decreased penetration rate, stuck pipe and the use of inappropriate types of mud will affect the cleanliness of the drill hole. drilling mud also affects the determination of speed, efficiency, safety, and costs during drilling operations. therefore, a comprehensive evaluation of the mud performance in lifting cuttings is needed, especially to ensure that the drill hole remains clean and free from cutting accumulation that can interfere with operations. the purpose and objective of this cutting lifting evaluation is to determine the ability of drilling mud to lift cuttings to the surface in the mg-21 well in sg field, on the 12 ¼†and 8 ½†hole size.in writing this final assignment, the evaluation of cutting lifting by drilling mud used in well mg-21 field sg on the 12 ¼ inch and 8 ½ inch hole size will be carried out using three methods, namely ctr (cutting transport ratio), cca (cutting capacity in annulus), and cci (cutting carry index). ctr (cutting transport ratio) is the ratio or percentage of mud that successfully lifts cuttings. cca (cutting capacity in annulus) describes how much cutting is present when in the annulus, and cci (cutting carry index) this method is applied to evaluate whether the cutting lifting process has functioned optimally. each method has its own success criteria, where cci (cutting carry index) with optimal results> 1, ctr (cutting transportation ratio) with optimal results> 50%, and cca (cutting concentration in annulus) with optimal results <5%evaluation of cutting lifting in the mg-21 well of the sg field has met the criteria for good cutting lifting, on the 12 ¼†hole size with the cci (cutting carry index) method, the results were 4,069 – 52,911, the ctr (cutting transportation ratio) method obtained a value of 59,444% – 98,643% and the cca (cutting concentration in annulus) method obtained a value of 1,462%- 2,952%, and for the 8 ½†hole size with the cci (cutting carry index) method, the results were 4,858% – 27,828, the ctr (cutting transportation ratio) method obtained a value of 83,615% - 96,964%, and the cca (cutting concentration in annulus) method obtained a value of 0,367% – 0,997%.based on the evaluation results that the use of drilling mud used in terms of physical properties such as density, plastic viscosity, yield point and parameters such as pump flow rate and rate of penetration (rop) used in the mg-21 well in the sg field can lift cuttings well from the annulus to the surface and no cuttings sedimentation was found at the bottom of the well is also an indicator that the circulation system and mud design used are effective and appropriate, the mud is able to maintain the condition of the borehole clean from drilling material deposits during this drilling operation. this success supports the smooth running of drilling operations as a whole and can minimize potential risks during drilling operations due to hole cleaning problems.keywords: cca (cutting capacity in annulus); cci (cutting carry index); ctr (cutting transport ratio); drilling mud
