B Bandar Udara Radin Inten II di Provinsi Lampung merupakan infrastruktur penting dalam menunjang konektivitas udara antara Pulau Sumatera dan Pulau Jawa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi tebal perkerasan landas pacu eksisting dalam mendukung operasional pesawat udara kritis, khususnya B737-900 ER, serta mengevaluasi kebutuhan tebal perkerasan dalam 10 tahun mendatang. Metode yang digunakan mencakup analisis menggunakan Aircraft Classification Number/Pavement Classification Number (ACN/PCN) dan simulasi menggunakan software FAARFIELD 1.42. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tebal perkerasan eksisting sebesar 97,5 cm, sementara hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode ACN/PCN adalah 91,72 cm dan software FAARFIELD 1.42 sebesar 84,53 cm. Tebal eksisting sebesar 97,5 cm dan nilai PCN sebesar 63 masih mampu melayani pesawat kritis jenis B737-900 ER yang memiliki nilai ACN sebesar 55, sehingga memenuhi standar keamanan dan daya dukung. Perbedaan hasil perhitungan antara metode ACN/PCN dan software FAARFIELD 1.42 disebabkan oleh pendekatan analisis yang berbeda, di mana ACN/PCN menggunakan asumsi sederhana, sementara FAARFIELD 1.42 mempertimbangkan aspek mekanis-empiris yang lebih kompleks. Berdasarkan proyeksi pergerakan penumpang dalam 10 tahun ke depan, kapasitas pesawat kritis B737-900 ER tidak lagi memadai, sehingga diperlukan peningkatan daya dukung perkerasan dan penyesuaian operasional untuk mengakomodasi pesawat yang lebih besar.
R Radin Inten II Airport in Lampung Province is an important infrastructure in supporting air connectivity between Sumatra Island and Java Island. This study aims to analyze the condition of the existing runway pavement thickness in supporting critical aircraft operations, especially the B737-900 ER, and evaluate the need for pavement thickness in the next 10 years. The methods used include analysis using Aircraft Classification Number/Pavement Classification Number (ACN/PCN) and simulation using FAARFIELD 1.42 software. The results showed that the thickness of the existing pavement was 97.5 cm, while the calculation result using ACN/PCN method was 91.72 cm and FAARFIELD 1.42 software was 84.53 cm. The existing thickness of 97.5 cm and PCN value of 63 are still able to serve critical aircraft of the B737-900 ER type which has an ACN value of 55, thus meeting safety and carrying capacity standards. The difference in calculation results between the ACN/PCN method and FAARFIELD 1.42 software is due to different analysis approaches, where ACN/PCN uses simple assumptions, while FAARFIELD 1.42 considers more complex mechanical-empirical aspects. Based on the projected passenger movement in the next 10 years, the critical aircraft capacity of the B737-900 ER is no longer sufficient, thus requiring an increase in pavement bearing capacity and operational adjustments to accommodate larger aircraft.
