Analisis fasies endapan turbidit pada formasi bagian bawah daerah Karangpucung, Kabupaten Banyumas Provinsi Jawa Barat.
K ondisi fisik geologi pada suatu daerah memiliki dampak yang berbeda-beda,terutama pada kondisi geologi Formasi Halang yang dikenal juga sebagai daerah lingkungan pengendapan laut dalam atau turbidit. Fokus penelitian untuk mengetahui variasi dari suatu fasies turbidit dan menjabarkan potensi porositas dan permeabilitaspada daerah penelitian. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode stratigrafi terukur,ditunjang dengan analisis petrografi, mikropaleontologi dan core routine. Formasi halang pada daerah penelitian didominasi oleh perselingan batupasir dan batulempung atau batu lanau. Hasil kajian endapan turbidit dari formasi halang dapat disimpulkanterendapakan pada sistem lobes yang membentuk kipas laut dalam, mulai upper fandan suprafan lobes on mid fan. Dari analisis routine core dapat diketahui porositas danpermeabilitas dari setiap sampel batupasir yang diuji lalu diklasifikasikan berdasarkankualitas dari baik hingga buruk. Formasi halang pada lokasi penelitian memilikikualitas yang sedang hingga baik.
T he haling formation or commonly known as turbidite, differs from one anotheras they are affected by each geological physical condition. Due to its distinctions, thefocus of this research is to comprehend the variation of turbidite facies as well as toinvestigate the probability for porosity and permeability within the researched area.The given data is measured by stratigraphic method that is supported by petrographyanalysis, and micropaleontology and core routine. Based on the findings, The Halangformation is dominated by alternating sandstone as well as claystone or siltstone.Hence, this research suggested that the deposition of turbidite from halang formationis deposited within its lobes system which created a deep-sea fan consisting of upperfan and suprafan lobes on its mid fan. Furthermore, based on routine core analysis,each sample can be classified into quality that is based on its porosity and itspermeability in which it was discovered that the basin of Banyumas on theKarangpucung region is of a good quality.
