Hubungan emotional intelligence dan perkembangan bahasa pada anak usia 12-36 bulan
P erkembangan bahasa merupakan salah satu indikator perkembangan menyeluruh dari kemampuan kognitif anak yang berhubungan dengan keberhasilan di sekolah nanti. Emotional intelligence ibu berperan penting dalam memahami, menggunakan, dan mengelola emosinya untuk perkembangan bahasa anak pada usia golden age period. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui hubungan emotional intelligence ibu dengan perkembangan bahasa anak usia 12-36 bulan. Penelitian ini merupakan studi analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional dengan responden sejumlah 98 orang di Puskesmas Kelapa Dua. Pengumpulan data menggunakan emotional intelligence questionnaire untuk meneliti emotional intelligence ibu dan tes Denver. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat dengan uji Kolmogrov-Smirnof. Ibu dengan emotional intelligence tinggi lebih banyak mempunyai anak dengan perkembangan bahasa pass 52 (67,5%) daripada ibu yang mempunyai anak dengan perkembangan bahasa fail 16 (20,8%), caution 3 (3,9%), refusal 6(7,8%). Sedangkan, ibu dengan emotional intelligence rendah lebih banyak mempunyai anak dengan perkembangan bahasa fail 5 (23,8%), caution 5(23,8%), refusal 6 (7,8%). daripada ibu yang mempunyai anak dengan perkembangan bahasa pass 5 (23,8%). Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara emotional intelligence ibu dan perkembangan bahasa anak usia 12-36 bulan. Terdapat perbedaan antara rata-rata jumlah nilai kecerdasan emosional dan perkembangan bahasa.
R elationship between Language development is one indicator of the overall development of children's cognitive abilities related to success in school later. Emotional intelligence mothers play an important role in understanding, using, and managing their emotions for children's language development at the age of the golden age period. Therefore, I am interested in research and knowing the relationship of maternal emotional intelligence with language development in children aged 12-36 months. This study was an analytical study with a cross sectional design with 98 respondents in the Kelapa Dua Health Center. Data collection uses emotional intelligence questionnaire to examine maternal emotional intelligence and the Denver test. Data analysis was done by univariate and bivariate by Kolmogrov-Smirnof test. The chi-square test showed a significant relationship between maternal emotional intelligence and language development in children aged 12-36 months (p = 0,000). High emotional intelligence mothers have more children with pass language development 52 (67.5%) than mothers who have children with failing language development 16 (20.8%), caution 3 (3.9%), refusal 6 (7 , 8%). Meanwhile, mothers with low emotional intelligence have more children with developing 5 language languages (23.8%), caution 5 (23.8%), refusal 6 (7.8%). compared to mothers who have children with pass 5 language development (23.8%). There is a significant relationship between maternal emotional intelligence and language development in children aged 12-36 months. There is a difference between the average number of values of emotional intelligence and language development.
