T ujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh ukuran perusahaan, persistensi laba, dan leverage terhadap keinformatifan laba yang diproksikan dengan menggunakan earnings response coefficient dengan investment opportunity set sebagai variabel moderasi dan profitabilitas sebagai variabel kontrol studi pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data untuk penelitian diperoleh dari yahoo finance, Indonesia Capital Library Electronic (ICAMEL), Indonesia Capital Market Directory (ICMD), situs Bursa Efek Indonesia, dan yahoo finance, Sampel yang digunakan adalah 269 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) 5 tahun yaitu tahun 2010-2014. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi berganda. Alat analisis yang digunakan untuk pengujian hipotesis adalah SPSS 22. Ukuran perusahan berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap earnings response coefficient, persistensi laba memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap earnings response coefficient. Sedangkan leverage tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap earnings response coefficient. Penelitian ini juga menunjukan pengaruh variabel moderasi. Investment opportunity set memperlemah hubungan antara ukuran perusahaan terhadap earnings response coefficient, investment opportunity set memperlemah hubungan antara persistensi laba terhadap earnings response coefficient, dan investment opportunity set memperkuat hubungan leverage terhadap earnings response coefficient.

T he purpose of this study was to determine the effect of firm size, earnings persistence, and leverage to earning informativeness proxied by using earnings response coefficient to the investment opportunity set as a moderating variable and profitability as control variables in the study of manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data for the study was obtained from yahoo finance, Indonesia Capital Library Electronic (ICAMEL), Indonesia Capital Market Directory (ICMD), the site of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and yahoo finance, samples are 269 companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) 5 year ie 2010-2014. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This study uses multiple regression analysis. Analyzer used to test the hypothesis is SPSS 22. Firm size significant negative effect on earnings response coefficient, the persistence of earnings has a positive significant effect on earnings response coefficient. While leverage does not have a significant effect on earnings response coefficient. This study also indicates the effect of moderating variable. Investment opportunity set to weaken the relationship between the firm size of earnings response coefficient, investment opportunity set to weaken the relationship between the earnings persistence to the earnings response coefficient, and the investment opportunity set to strengthen ties leverage on earnings response coefficient.
