I f the oil can not be produced using natural flow due to reservoir pressure lower than well flowing pressure, it is used artificial lift. Wells A, B, C, and D lie in the Field Y - Block Japura, currently 4th in production wells using sucker rod pump as a device of artificial lift method . As time goes on the well production decrease . So we do the evaluation of the volumetric efficiency and optimization for installed sucker rod pumps , with the aim of knowing the volumetric efficiency and what can be done to do the optimization pumps installed so that the production rate at the surface up. Sucker rod pump used in wells A, B, C, and D respectively-160D-C 173-100, C-57D-95-48, C-114D-119-86, and C-160D-173-64 . Volumetric efficiency evaluation was done by comparing the total capacity of the pump with a flow rate of the fluid on the surface, while the optimization simply changing the pump speed and stroke length. Results of the evaluation of the volumetric efficiency of the pump to 4 in a row for wells A, B, C, and D are 55.07%, 62.4%, 64.22%, and 41.9%. From the results of the optimization, the wells A production increase from 459 to 485.20 BFPD BFPD. In the B wells, production increase from 134 to 163.45 BFPD BFPD. C for wells, production increase from 225 to 272.72 BFPD BFPD. And for wells D, increase from 74 to 80.72 BFPD BFPD. But if it is done turn the pump installed a new pump that has the same specs with attached pump but efficiency is 80% and is considered the rate of production wells in a row for
