Studi laboratorium pengaruh penambahan clay terhadap sifat lumpur pada berbagai temperatur
T ujuan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk meneliti pengaruh penambahan clay terhadap sifat fisik lumpur KCl PHPA polimer pada berbagai temperature. Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi sifat – sifat rheologi lumpur tersebut dan bisa membuat lumpur tersebut menjadi tidak ideal untuk dilakukan penambahan clay. Penelitian yang dilakukan di laboratorium pemboran dan produksi Universitas Trisakti ini dilakukan dengan 1 lumpur tapi dengan kadar clay di Lumpur A1 (0 ppb), Lumpur A2 (2.5 Ppb), Lumpur A3 (5 Ppb), Lumpur A4 (7.5 Ppb), dan Lumpur A5 (10 Ppb). Percobaan ini dilakukan dengan berbagai temperatur yaitu 80°F, 120°F, 160°F, 200 °F, dan 240 °F. Pengaruh penambahan clay pada sistem lumpur berakibat naiknya nilai harga berat jenis, viskositas, plastic viscosity, yield point, gel strength, water loss, mud cake. Sedangkan nilai pH filtrate mengalami penurunan dan ditemukan peningkatan nilai MBT yang di sebabkan karena pengaruh kadar clay yang ada didalam system lumpur KCl PHPA polymer. Pengaruh temperatur terhadap penambahan clay pada sistem lumpur berakibat turunnya harga berat jenis, viskositas, plastic viscosity, yield point,gel strength,PH filtrate,chloride. Sedangkan water loss, mud cake berakibat turun. Dari hasil percobaan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa lumpur A1 memenuhi spesifikasi lumpur yang diinginkan tetapi nilai water loss pada lumpur A1 memenuhi harga specifikasi <12,5 ml/30min, namun tidak memenuhi harga specifikasi pada temperature 2000 F dan 2400 F. Sedangkan untuk lumpur A2, A3, A4, dan A5 yang mengalami penambahan konsentrasi clay tidak memenuhi spesifikasi yang telah ditetapkan di laboratorium.

From the experimental results it can be concluded that the sludge A1 sludge meets the desired specifications but the value of water loss in the mud A1 meet specifications prices <12.5 ml/30min, but does not meet specifications prices at temperatures of 200 0F and 240 0F.
