Pengaruh total quality management (tqm) terhadap Kinerja manajerial
P enelitian ini merupakan penelitian empiris yang dilakukan pada tahun 2011, yang bertujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang berkaitan dengan pengaruh Total Quality Management (TQM) terhadap Kinerja Manajerial pada PT Pandu Logistics Jakarta. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan 10 elemen Total Quality Management (TQM), yaitu fokus pada pelanggan, obsesi terhadap kualitas, fokus pendekatan ilmiah, komitmen jangka panjang, kerjasama tim, perbaikan sistem secara berkesinambungan, pendidikan dan pelatihan, kebebasan terkendali, kesatuan tujuan, serta keterlibatan dan pemberdayaan karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan memberikan kuesioner secara individual. Responden yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah manajer, wakil manajer dan supervisor dengan sampel yang berjumlah 34 orang, yang bekerja di PT Pandu Logistics Jakarta. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa secara simultan kesepuluh elemen Total Quality Management (TQM) tersebut berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Manajerial. Tetapi secara parsial, elemen Total Quality Management (TQM) yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap Kinerja Manajeral hanya kesatuan tujuan, sedangkan sisanya tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap Kinerja Manajerial.
T his research is empirical research conducted in the year 2011, which aims to test the hypothesis pertaining to the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) towards Managerial Performance of PT Pandu Logistics Jakarta. This study used 10 elements of Total Quality Management (TQM), which focusing on customers, obsession to quality, the focus of the scientific, approach longterm commitment, teamwork, continuous system improvement, education and training, controlled freedom, unity of purpose, as well as employee involvement and empowerment. This study uses survey methods by providing questionnaire individually. Respondents were selected in this study are managers, deputy managers and supervisors with sample which totaled 34 people, who worked in PT Pandu Logistics Jakarta. Testing the hypothesis in this study uses multiple regression. The result of this research proves that simultaneously the ten elements of Total Quality Management (TQM) were influential to the Managerial Performance. But partially, the elements of Total Quality Management (TQM) which have an effect towards Managerial Performance only unity of purpose, while the rest did not have an influence on the Managerial Performance.
