Pegas untuk pergerakan bukaVlabial, terdiri dari: cranked palatal spring, Z spring, dan T spring. Pegas untuk pergerakan lingual/palatal, terdiri dari: molar spring, canine and premolar spring, single incisor spring dan soldered auxiliary spring. Pegas untuk mengurangi overjet, terdiri dari: labial bow dengan loop kecil, labial bow dengan loop besar, Roberts' retractor, apron spring, dan self-straightening wire. Pada labial bow harus diperhatikan letaknya dan kapan labial bow harus pasif atau aktif. Desain pegas yang tepat sangat mempengaruhi pergerakan gigi ke arah yang tepat dalam perawatan ortodonti.

The position of labial bow must be given special attention as well as when the labial bow should be in passive or active.
