Abstrak
Abstract

G Gigi tiruan dibutuhkan untuk menggantikan gigi yang hilang. Dalam penggunaan gigi tiruan dibutuhkan pemeliharaan gigi tiruan yang baik dengan cara melakukan metode dan frekuensi yang tepat agar tercipta kebersihan gigi tiruan yang baik. Pembersihan gigi tiruan yang baik dapat mencegah penumpukan plak, membersihkan debris dan mencegah perubahan warna gigi tiruan. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh metode dan frekuensi pembersihan terhadap tingkat kebersihannya pada pasien RSGM FKG Usakti. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan rancangan penelitian secara cross-sectional dengan sampel sebanyak 40 responden yang sebelumnya telah diberikan informed consent kemudian diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner kemudian diminta untuk mengeluarkan gigi tiruannya untuk dilihat tingkat kebersihannya. Penilaian tingkat kebersihan gigi tiruannya skor 1 gigi tiruan bersih tidak terdapat debris, skor 2 gigi tiruan masih terdapat soft debris diantara gigi artifisial, skor 3 soft debris terdapat pada permukaan intaglio gigi tiruan atau hard debris menutupi bagian artifisial. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 22 dengan uji korelasi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan sebanyak 30 responden memiliki gigi tiruan yang bersih dan 10 responden yang masih memiliki soft debris diantara gigi artifisial. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini tingkat kebersihan gigi tiruan responden tergolong baik dan metode dan frekuesi yang digunakan berhubungan dengan tingkat kebersihan gigi tiruan.

D Denture was replace missing teeth. In the use of dentures, it is necessary to maintain good denture by doing the right method and frequency in order to create a good dentures hygine. A good cleaning of dentures can prevent the buildup of plaque, clean debris can prevent discoloration of dentures. The purpose of this study is to determine how does the method and the frequency affect the level cleanliness of the denture in RSGM FKG Usakti. This study was observsional analytic with cross sectional study with a subject of this study is 40 respondent who were previously given informed consent the asked to fill out a questionnaire and ask the respondent to remove the denture to see the level of cleanliness. Score 1 (clean) denture show no soft debris, score 2 there are still have soft debris between the artificial teeth, score 3 soft debris over the intaglio surface of the denture and hard debris covered the teeth and plate. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22 with multiple correlation test. The result of the study show 30 respondent have clean denture and 10 respondent have dirty denture that still have soft debris between the artificial teeth. The conclusion of this study show that the respondent denture cleanliness was good and the mothod ang frequency was affect the level of cleanliness of the denture.
