K Kemajuan sains atau ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi menjadi salah satutolok ukur berkembangnya suatu Negara. Sehingga minat pelajar untuk mengikutiOlimpiade Sains Nasional (OSN) hingga International Junior Science Olimpiade(IJSO) sangat di dukung oleh pemerintah. Minat ini dapat timbul dengan caramempelajari dari pendidikan formal maupun non formal. Untuk menunjang minatsains dari segi non formal sehingga diperlukan suatu wadah berbasis ilmupengetahuan dan teknologi seperti Pusat Informasi Sains (Science Center). ScienceCenter tersebut juga merupakan upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di bidangscience dan teknologi. Kabupaten Bengkalis merupakan kabupaten yang turut sertamangembangkan aspek-aspek pendidikan terutama di bidang science danteknologi. Sehingga perlu di bangun sebuat Pusat Informasi Sains (Science Center)di Bengkalis.
T The progress of science and technology is one of the benchmarks for countrydevelopment. The interest of students to participate in the National ScienceOlympiad (OSN) to the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) is stronglysupported by the government. This interest can arise from learning formal and nonformaleducation. To support the interest of science from a non-formal way, itrequires a science and technology-based platform such as the Science Center. TheScience Center is also an effort to improve the quality of education of science andtechnology. Bengkalis Regency is a district that participates in developing aspectsof education, especially in science and technology. So it needs to build a ScienceCenter in Bengkalis.
