T The increase of population in a particular area will demand the fulfillment of social facilities. The increase in population must be balanced with the development of social facilities, because if it is not balanced properly there will be an inequality. If the social facilities in housing has been fulfilled, it can reduced the resident’s movement to the downtown area. Dasana Indah Housing is located in Tangerang Regency. The health and educational facilities in Dasana Indah Housing has been comprehensive, but it hasn’t been fully utilized by it’s residents. By knowing the pattern of social facilities utilization in a residential area, it is expected the recognization of the residents needs and provision of the facility by the developer The purpose of this study is to determine the pattern of facilities utilization in Dasana Indah Housing. The data collection methods that’s being used are survey and questionnaire. The respondents of this research are the heads of households in Dasana Indah Housing. The analysis technique used is Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The results of the study shows that the residents of Dasana Indah Housing that’s using education and health facilities from the outside of the housing are affected by the facility’s quality. The reason is because the quality of the facilities outside the housing is much better than the facilities inside the housing.Keywords : Utilization of Social Facilities, Social Facilities
