Abstrak
Abstract

P Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara Women on Board (WOB),ukuran dewan,ukuran perusahaan terhadap kinerja perusahaan yang dimoderasi olehindustri jasa dan dewan independen. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniadalah perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2014-2018.Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah dewan perempuan dan Variabeldependenya adalah kinerja perusahaan yang diukur oleh Return On Equity danTobinâ€™s Q, ukuran dewan dan ukuran perusahaan sebagai variabel kontrol, industrijasa dan dewan independen sebagai variabel moderasi. Dengan menggunakanmetode purpose sampling, didapatkan 30 perusahaan. Metode analisis data yangdigunakan adalah data panel. Berdasarkan hasil data panel tersebut maka didapatkanbahwa hasil dewan perempuan memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan(Tobinâ€™s Q), Namun dewan perempuan tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerjaperusahaan (Tobinâ€™s Q dan ROE) yang dimoderasi dengan Board Independence.Namun hasil berbeda dewan perempuan terhadap kinerja perusahaan yangdimoderasi oleh industri jasa dimana (Tobinâ€™s Q) tidak memiliki pengaruh,sedangkan kinerja perusahaan (ROE) memiliki pengaruh terhadap dewan perempuan yang dimoderasi industri jasa. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa manajemen perlumempertimbangkan penempatan anggota dewan perempuan di dalam perusahaanterlebih pada perusahaan jasa untuk memaksimalkan keuntungan perusahaan.

T This study aims to determine the effect of the Women on Board (WOB), board size,company size on company performance that is moderated by the service industry andthe independent board. The sample used in this study is companies listed on theIndonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014-2018 period. The independent variablein this study is the women's board and the dependent variable is the company'sperformance as measured by Return On Equity and Tobin's Q, board size andcompany size as a control variable, the service industry and the independent board asa moderating variable. By using the purpose sampling method, 30 companies werefound. Data analysis method used is panel data. Based on the results of the paneldata, it was found that the results of the women's council had an influence on thecompany's performance (Tobin's Q), but the women's council had no influence on thecompany's performance (Tobin's Q and ROE) which was moderated by the Board ofIndependence. However, the different results of the women's council on the performance of companies that are moderated by the service industry where (Tobin'sQ) has no influence, while the performance of the company (ROE) has an influenceon the female council that is moderated by the service industry. These resultsindicate that management needs to consider placing female board members in thecompany especially in service companies to maximize company profits.
