S Secara administratif daerah penelitian terletak di Desa Bantar Karet,Kecamatan Nanggung, Kabupaten Bogor, Provinsi Jawa Barat dan secara geografis berada pada zona UTM 48S dengan koordinat X:6725568mT-673607mT dan Y:9261990 mU-9263316mU. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah pengambilan data dari surface, subsurface, analisa petrografi, analisa mineragrafi, analisa X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) dan data kadar yang didapat dari perusahaan.Daerah penelitian terbagi menjadi dua satuan geomorfologi yaitu Satuan Geomorfologi Perbukitan Intrusi Tersayat Tajam dan Satuan Geomorfologi Perbukitan Bergelombang Sisa Gunung Api. Sedangkan untuk stratigrafi terbagi menjadi dua satuan batuan yaitu Satuan Batuan Intrusi Andesit dan Satuan Batuan Lapilli tuf. Berdasarkan himpunan mineral yang dijumpai di permukaan, terdapat tiga zonasi alterasi yaitu zona alterasi propilitik (kuarsa, chlorite, adularia dan calcite), zona alterasi argilik (kuarsa, illit dan chlorite) dan zona alterasi Filik (kuarsa,chlorite dan pyrite). Pada bagian tunnel dijumpai 3 fasies pengendapan urat. Fasies tersebut adalah Carbonate Quartz Facies (CQ), Grey Sulphide QuartzFacies (GSQ) dan Banded Opaline Quartz Facies (BOQ). Secara miskroskopis kehadiran tekstur pada daerah penelitian sangat beragam, pada tekstur tumbuh primer ditemukan tesktur colloform, crustiform, chalcedonic dan cockade, pada tekstur rekristalisasi ditemukan tekstur feathery dan pada tekstur replacement ditemukan tekstur pseudoacicular. Karakteristik kadar Au-Ag yang tinggi terdapat pada fasies urat GreySulphide Quartz Facies (GSQ) dengan tekstur tumbuh primer colloform,crustiform dan chalcedonic serta dengan himpunan mineral adularia dan sulfida.

A Administratively the research area is located in Bantar Karet Village, Nanggung Subdistrict, Bogor Regency, West Java Province and geographically located in UTM 48S zone with coordinates X: 6725568mT-673607mT and Y: 9261990 mU-9263316mU. The research method is data collection from the surface, subsurface, petrographic analysis, mineragrafi analysis, X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis and data obtained from the company. The research area is divided into two geomorphology units, Geomorphology Unit of Intrusive Treaded Intrusion Hills and Unit Geomorphology of Bumpy Hills Time Volcanoes. As for the stratigraphy is divided into two units of rock that is Andesite Intrusion Rock Unit and Satuan Batuan Lapilli tuff. Based on the set of minerals found on the surface, there are three alteration zones: the propellitic alteration zone (quartz, chlorite, adularia and calcite), argill alteration zones (quartz, illit and chlorite) and Filik alteration zones (quartz, chlorite and pyrite). In the tunnel there are 3 facies of vein deposition. The facies are Carbonate Quartz Facies (CQ), Gray Sulphide QuartzFacies (GSQ) and Banded Opaline Quartz Facies (BOQ). Miscroscopically the presence of textures in the study area varies considerably in the primary growth texture found in colloform, crustiform, chalcedonic and cockade textures, on recrystallization textures found in feathery textures and on the texture of replacement found pseudoacicular textures. Characteristics of high levels of Au-Ag are found in glycemic facies of GreySulphide Quartz Facies (GSQ) with primary, colloform, crustiform and chalcedonic grain growth as well as with mineral adularia and sulfide minerals.
