\ \\\"latar belakang: resin komposit menjadi pilihan utama restorasi gigi karena sifat estetik dan kekuatan mekanisnya yang baik. penggunaan bahan adhesif yang digunakan pada restorasi komposit sangat mempengaruhi kekuatan ikat terhadap struktur email gigi. perkembangan teknologi saat ini menghadirkan universal adhesive one bottle system dan universal adhesive two bottle system. tujuan: mengetahui perbedaan kekuatan ikat geser antara universal adhesive one bottle dan two bottle sysytem pada email. metode: penelitian eksperimental laboratoris dengan rancangan post test only control group design. sampel terdiri dari 40 gigi premolar dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok. terdapat perlakuan berbeda pada keempat kelompok uji, yaitu kelompok 1 (universal adhesive one bottle system dengan teknik total-etch), kelompok 2 (universal adhesive one bottle system dengan teknik self-etch), kelompok 3 (universal adhesive two bottle system dengan teknik total-etch), dan pada kelompok 4 (universal adhesive two bottle system dengan teknik self-etch). resin komposit nanofiller berbentuk kubus 2mm x 2mm, dipolimerisasi dengan intensitas cahaya 650 mw/cm² selama 20 detik, dengan jarak 1 mm. sampel disimpan dalam inkubator selama 24 jam dengan suhu 37°c. pengukuran kekuatan ikat geser menggunakan universal testing machine dengan kecepatan gaya geser sebesar 1mm/menit hingga resin komposit terlepas. hasil: berdasarkan uji one way anova kekuatan ikat geser (p<0.05) menunjukkan adanya perbedaan bermakna. hasil uji post hoc tukey menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna pada kelompok 1 dan kelompok 2, kelompok 1 dan kelompok 4, kelompok 2 dan kelompok 3, serta kelompok 3 dan kelompok 4. kesimpulan: universal adhesive two bottle system menghasilkan kekuatan ikat geser yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan universal adhesive one bottle system\\\"

B Background: composite resin has become the material of choice for dental restorations due to its excellent esthetic properties and mechanical strength. the use of adhesive systems in composite restorations plays a critical role in determining the bond strength to the enamel structure. recent technological developments have introduced the universal adhesive one bottle system and the universal adhesive two bottle system. objective: to determine the differences between universal adhesive one bottle and two bottle system on enamel. method: a laboratory experimental study using a post-test only control group design. the samples consisted of 40 premolar teeth divided into four groups. each group received different treatments: group 1 (universal adhesive one bottle system with the total-etch technique), group 2 (universal adhesive one bottle system with the self-etch technique), group 3 (universal adhesive two bottle system with the total-etch technique), and group 4 (universal adhesive two bottle system with the self-etch technique). nanofiller composite resin cubes measuring 2 mm x 2 mm were polymerized with a light intensity of 650 mw/cm² for 20 seconds at a distance of 1 mm. all samples were stored in an incubator at 37°c for 24 hours. the shear bond strength was measured using a universal testing machine at a crosshead speed of 1 mm/min until the composite resin detached. results: one-way anova test, shear bond strength (p<0.05) showed a significant difference. the post hoc tukey test results indicated a significant difference between groups 1 and 2, groups 1 and 4, groups 2 and 3, as well as groups 3 and 4. conclusion: the universal adhesive two bottle system produced higher shear bond strength compared to the universal adhesive one bottle system.
