S Semakin berkembangnya teknologi informasi dan terus meningkatnya pengguna internet untuk berbagai kebutuhan seperti e-commerce, social media, media informasi, dan sebagainya. Sehingga dibutuhkan pengelolaan website yang baik dan optimal, dimana perfomansi website dipengaruhi oleh program web server yang digunakan. Program untuk membangun web server sekarang ini sangat banyak, di antaranya adalah Apache, Nginx, IIS (Internet Information Service) dan lain-lain. Masing-masing program tersebut mempunyai perfomansi yang berbeda-beda untuk berbagai parameter.Penelitian ini menganalisis perbandingan perfomansi web server Apache, Nginx, dan IIS (Internet Information Service) dengan memberikan pengujian beban berupa jenis file HTML, JPG, dan PHP terhadap web server mengunakan open source tool ApacheBench dalam lingkungan virtualisasi VMWare Workstation. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan maka didapatkan kesimpulan untuk file jenis HTML dan JPG dengan parameter request per second, time per request, dan throughput web server IIS (Internet Information Service) memiliki performansi lebih baik dibandingkan web server Apache dan Nginx. Untuk jenis file PHP dengan parameter request per second, time per request, dan throughput, web server Apache memiliki performansi lebih baik pada konkurensi 10 dan 100 dibandingkan web server Nginx dan IIS (Internet Information Service). Sedangkan pada konkurensi 500 dan 1000 web server IIS (Internet Information Service) memiliki performansi lebih baik dibandingkan web server Apache dan Nginx.
T The rapid development of information technology and the increasing number of internet users for various purposes, such as e-commerce, social media, information media, and so on, necessitate proper and optimal website management, as website performance is influenced by the web server program used. There are numerous programs for building web servers today, including Apache, Nginx, IIS (Internet Information Service), and others. Each of these programs has different performance characteristics for various parameters.This study analyzes the comparative performance of Apache, Nginx, and IIS (Internet Information Service) web servers by conducting load testing of HTML, JPG, and PHP files against the web servers using the open-source tool ApacheBench in a VMWare Workstation virtualization environment. Based on the research, it was concluded that for HTML and JPG files, the IIS (Internet Information Service) web server performed better than the Apache and Nginx web servers in terms of requests per second, time per request, and throughput. For PHP file types with parameters such as requests per second, time per request, and throughput, the Apache web server performed better at 10 and 100 concurrency than the Nginx and IIS (Internet Information Service) web servers. Meanwhile, at 500 and 1000 concurrency, the IIS (Internet Information Service) web server performed better than the Apache and Nginx web servers.
