B Background: Life expectancy continues to increase, causing the elderly population in Indonesia to keep on growing. Complete tooth loss, which is often experienced by elders, should be immediately overcome by the manufacture of complete dentures in order to avoid further severity. Conventional full denture is still believed to address the case of complete tooth loss on elderly patients as it is more economical and has shorter turn around times. In evaluating the success of a denture treatment, other than an objective assessment, subjective assessment is needed, namely assessment of patient satisfaction, one of them is in terms of mastication, considering that the main objectives in complete denture treatments are aesthetics, mastication, and phonetics. The masticatory satisfaction of complete denture wearers can be measured using a modified Turker's Patient Perceptions-ID questionnaire. Objectives: To determine the overview of masticatory satisfaction rate on the complete denture wearers of the RSGM-P FKG Usakti. Methods: This study is an observational descriptive study. Data collection was acquired through filling out questionnaires while interviewing the elders who are wearing complete denture and undergoing treatment at RSGM-P FKG Usakti, West Jakarta. There is a total of 34 respondents who are all above the age of 60 years old. Results: Based on the results of the analysis using the SPSS program, the elders who are using complete denture at the RSGM-P FKG Usakti have good masticatory satisfaction with a percentage of 79% and poor masticatory satisfaction with a percentage of 19%. Conclusion: The masticatory satisfaction rate of complete denture wearers in RSGM-P FKG Usakti is classified as good.
