P Perawatan endodontik merupakan pembersihan seluruh jaringan pulpa. Tujuan penelitian adalah melihat perbedaan hasil pengukuran panjang kerja dengan metode radiograf dan electronic apex locator yang melibatkan gigi-gigi insisivus yang sedang menjalani perawatan endodontik.penelitian ini menggunakan EAL merk mini root Zx, morita dan digital radiograf dengan pesawat radiograf (Belmont photo XII), sensor (Vateech) setelah subyek sudah ditentukan, lalu dilakukan pengukuran panjang kerja untuk melihat adanya perbedaan pada hasil kedua teknik tersebut. Hasil: menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil pengukuran panjang kerja saluran akar antara metode radiogrf dan EAL (p=0,034) berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpilkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang berarti pada pengukuran panjang kerja saluran akar antara metode radiograf dengan electronic apex locator.

E Endodontic treatment is the elimination of the pulp tissue, necrotic tissue and microorganism from root canal system. Working length determination is one of the crucial steps that determines the success of endodontic treatment. Various techniques have been used for years until today such as radiograph method and electronic apex locator. However, EAL is still hard to be found in rural areas, dental practices and hospitals. Previous study proves that there is no significant different of working length determination between digital radiography tachnique using Belmont Photo XII with its sensor, Vatech and EAL using mini Root Zx, morita from Japan on extracted tooth. The aim of this study is to see the difference of working length determination between both techniques. The results of this study, there is a significant difference of working length determination between radiography method and EAL. Based on this study it can be concluded that there is a significant difference of working length determination between radiography method and EAL.
