Abstract

R Resin komposit dikenal luas sebagai bahan restoratif yang paling menyerupaiwama gigi asli, namun penyusutan yang teijadi sering menyebabkan kebocorantepi. Oleh karena itu, pada metode restorasi minimalis invasif kelas II denganmenggunakan resin komposit dapat digunakan teknik Sandwich untuk mengatasimasalah penyusutan tersebut. Pemakaian semen ionomer kaca sebagai basis sertabahan bonding pada teknik Sandwich mengatasi resiko kebocoran tepi akibatpenyusutan.

C Composite resin is widely known as a restorative material most resembles theoriginal tooth color, however, the shrinkage that often causes side leakage.Therefore, the minimalize invasive restoration method of dental composite resinfor class II could use the sandwich technique to overcome the shrinkage problem.The use of glass ionomer cement as base as well as bonding for sandwichtechnique can overcome the risk of side leakage as result of the shrinkage
