B Beton, salah satu bahan material yang sangat penting dalam pembangunan infrastruktur, pada umumnya terususun dari komposisi utama agregat kasar, agregat halus, air, Semen Portland (SP) dan bahan tambahan lainnya. Dalam proses produksi Semen Portland (SP) terjadi pelelepasan karbon dioksida (CO2) yang merupakan kontributor utama emisi gas dan rumah kaca, menimbulkan pemanasan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai kuat tekan, nilai slump dan waktu ikat pada beton geopolymer berbasis abu terbang (fly ash) tipe C jika dengan tambahan superplasticizer jenis viscocrete. Metode penelitian menggunakan benda uji berebentuk silinder dengan diameter 100 mm dan tinggi 200 mm dengan tambahan kandungan viscocrete sebesar 0%, 1%, 1.5% dan 2%. Pengujian kuat tekan saat mencapai 3 hari, 7 hari, 14 hari dan 28 hari. Dari hasil penelitian, didapat kesimpulan bahwa semakin tinggi kandungan superplasticizer viscocrete maka nilai tinggi slump yang dihasilkan akan semakin tinggi dan waktu ikat yang dihasilkan semakin lama, akan tetapi menurunkan nilai kuat tekan beton berkurang. Penambahan superplasticizer viscocrete juga mempengaruhi perbandingan nilai kuat tekan pada umur beton 28 hari curring oven 60ºC, nilai kuat tekan yang dihasilkan lebih besar dibandingkan dengan 28 hari curring suhu ruang.

In the production process of the Portland Cement (SP) release of carbon dioxide (CO2) which is a major contributor to gas and greenhouse gas emissions, causes global warming. This study aims to determine the compressive strength, slump value and bonding time of C-type fly ash geopolymer concrete with the addition of viscocrete type superplasticizer. The research method uses cylindrical specimens with a diameter of 100 mm and a height of 200 mm with additional viscocrete content of 0%, 1%, 1.5%, and 2%. Compressive strength testing when it reaches 3 days, 7 days, 14 days and 28 days. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the higher the viscocrete superplasticizer content, the higher the value of the slump produced would be higher and the resulting bonding time would be longer, but the reduced compressive strength of the concrete would be reduced. The addition of viscocrete superplasticizer also affects the comparison of compressive strength values at the age of concrete 28 days of the 60 ° C curring oven, the value of the compressive strength produced is greater than 28 days of room temperature curing.
