C Combined Magnetic Resonance (CMR), Gamma Ray Tinggi, Mud logging, Potensial Hidrokarbon

R Reservoir zones with high Gamma Ray readings are often overlooked in oil and gas industry evaluations, which tend to focus on low Gamma Ray zones. However, these zones may harbour substantial hydrocarbon potential. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of Combined Magnetic Resonance (CMR) technology in enhancing the accuracy of petrophysical analysis in high Gamma Ray zones. The research was conducted on three wells (JL-1, JL-2, JL-3), comparing conventional Gamma Ray logging methods with CMR technology. The methodology encompasses the analysis of Gamma Ray, resistivity, and CMR logs, as well as integration with mud logging data. Evaluated parameters include effective porosity, clay volume (Vcl), sum of resistivity, water saturation, and identification of potential productive zones. Results indicate that CMR technology successfully identified more hydrocarbons in high Gamma Ray zones previously missed by standard logs. This study contributes to the optimization of hydrocarbon resource exploitation and improved production efficiency. These findings have significant implications for more accurate hydrocarbon reserve estimates and field development strategies.
