T Tourism take parts in regional economic growth which will have an impact onthe success of regional development. The Old City of Tegal which include AlunAlun and Old Town Hall is a tourism potential that should be able to contributethe tourism sector income. Often times, we were facing limitations in theprovision of facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to identify the tourismpotential of Old City of Tegal. The method is travel cost methods and secondorder confirmatory analysis. The results showed that Old City of Tegal as aneconomically viable are has the potential for attractions, accessibilities,amenities and ancillary services. The possible development of the tourism is tomaintain the implementation of the tourism development plan. Meanwhile, theleast potential one should be noticed. The results showed that tourism potentialincludes attraction namely the attractive events, attractive photoshoot spots, thevariety of activities supporting attraction and the historical valued of the oldtown. Meanwhile, the amenities includes a vary souvenir shopping areas, theconvenience public facilities, while the ancillary includes tour guide services
