Efisiensi penyisihan COD air limbah Tekstil PT. Artha Bhama Textindo dengan menggunakan SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor)
L Limbah cair yang dihasilkan oleh industri-industri mengandung berbagai macam karakteristik yang dapat mengganggu badan air penerimanya, dimana kandungan organik seperti COD dan BOD merupakan masalah yang dapat mengganggu kehidupan air, disamping parameter lainnya (deterjen, warna, TSS dan kekeruhan).SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor) adalah sistem pengolahan biologis pada suatu reaktor yang di dalamnya terdapat beberapa proses seperti ; proses pengisian, reaksi, pengendapan, pengaliran dan istirahat. SBR merupakan salah satu alternatif pengolahan biologis secara aerob yang dapat menyisihkan kandungan organik (COD) dengan baik.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mencari efisiensi pengolahan COD dari limbah cair industri tekstil dan menentukan waktu detensi yang optimum, serta menentukan parameter kinetis, yaitu. J.lmaks, Ks, Qmaks dank dalam reaktor SBR.Dalam pengolahan limbah cair tekstil dengan menggunakan reaktor SBRmenunjukkan penyisihan COD paling optimum sebesar± 75 % dengan waktu detensi 11 jam, dan parameter kinetis sebagai berikut;. JimaksSebesar 0.213 jam", Ks sebesar 28141.88 mg/Idan k sebesar 0.00005 jam" dan laju pertumbuhan biomassa, µ. = 0.213 SI (28141.88 + S).
T The waste water that is produced by industries contains several characteristics that will contaminate water sources, such as rivers, seas, etc. Organic materials that are part of these waste water such as, COD and BOD can inversely affect the quality of clean, apart from other factors (detergents, colouring, TSS etc).SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor) is a type of biological treatment found in a certain reactor which contains certain processes such as : filling process, reaction, settlement, flow and rest. SBR is one the many biological treatment alternative that can remove organic materials (COD) with satisfactory result:The aim of this research is to investigate the treatment efficiency of COD removal from the waste water by product of the textile industry, to establish the optimum detention time, along with the establishment of the kinetic parameter, that is. J.lmalcs, Ks, qmaJcs, and kin the SBR reactor.In the treatment of textile waste water with thr use of the SBR rector, the tests shows the optimum removal of COD to reach as high as ± 75 % with detention time of 11 hours and a kinetic parameter as follows ; J.lmaks as high as 0.213 hour" , Ks as high as 28141.88 mg/I and k as high as 0.00005 hour", The specific growth rate, µ register as 0.213 SI (28141.88 + S).
