Abstrak
Abstract

P Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari struktur corporate governance terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Struktur corporate governance terdiri atas (1) independensi dewan komisaris, (2) kepemilikan institusional dan (3) komite audit. Selain itu terdapat pula variabel kontrol yang terdiri atas (1) komposisi aktiva, (2) kesempatan tumbuh dan (3) ukuran perusahaan. Dalam penelitian ini ukuran kinerja perusahaan yang digunakan adalah return on assets, return on equity dan tobinâ€™s Q. Perusahaan yang menjadi objek penelitian adalah perusahaan yang termasuk dalam dalam peringkat corporate governance perception indeks (CGPI) di tahun 2007, 2008 dan 2009. Jumlah total perusahaan yang diteliti sebanyak 25 perusahaan. Dari hasil analisis uji parsial (T) diketahui bahwa untuk kinerja perusahaan yang diwakili oleh ROA, tidak ada satupun variabel yang berpengaruh, begitupula dengan ROE, tidak ada satu variabel pun yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan, sedangkan Tobinâ€™s, Q terdapat satu variabel yang berpengaruh yaitu komposisi aktiva. Hasil uji serentak (F), diketahui bahwa seluruh variabel struktur corporate governance hanya berpengaruh terhadap Tobinâ€™s Q.

T This research is done to know the influence of structure corporate governance to the companyâ€™s performance. Structure of corporate governance consist of (1) independency of commisionerâ€™s board, (2) institutional ownership and (3) audit committe; beside that, there are the control variable which consisting of (1) asset composition, (2) opportunity grow and (3) the size of company. Performance measure that used in this research are: return on asset, return on equity and Tobinâ€™s Q. The object of this research are the company entering in corporate governance perception indeks (CGPI) in year 2007, 2008 and 2009 that executed by the Indonesian Institute of Corporate Governance (IICG) with totalizing 25 companies. From the analysis of test partial (Test T) Note that for the performance of companies represented by ROA, none of the variables involved, nor with the ROE, no single variable had an effect on corporate performance, while Tobinâ€™s Q there is one variable that affects the composition of assets. Concurrent test result (F), it is known that the entire corporate governance structure variable only affect Tobinâ€™s Q.
