T The West Natuna Basin is bounded by the Penyu Basin in the Southwest, Malaya Basin in the West, Khorat Exposure in the North Natuna Arc in the East, and Sunda Exposure in the South. The initial formation of the basin due to tectonic intrusion of Indian plates and the Eurasian Plate. This tectonic system produces the rift basin complex. Rifting could have been generated from horizontal transitional movements of the left flank or by the horizontal confession regime. The study was conducted based on the background of the structure in this area considered to be very complex and interesting to be investigated by the Palinspastic method to determine the geological structure of the large contractions in the study area. Structural interpretation in the West Natuna area has been carried out using a cross section reconstruction method based on seismic data and wells prioritizing geological structure analysis to determine changes in structural patterns, understanding geometry in the form of elongation and shortening that occurred during its formation, type of structure, and geological history.Based on geological structure research, NE-SW orientation is older than NW-SE oriented structure. Caused by a change in style that occurred in the study area in the form of extensional to compressional. Compressional maximum on line 1A is 1.188%, compressional maximum on line 2A is 4.62%, and compressional maximum on line 3A is 20.38%. Compressional maximum on line 1B is 13.68%, compressional maximum on line 2B is 5%, compressional maximum on line 3B is 2.79%, extensional maximum on line 3B is 0.41%, compressional maximum on line 4B is 23, 94%, maximum compressional on line 5B is 4.54%, and compressional maximum on line 6B is 17.12%. Compressional maximum on line 1C is 93.48%, compressional maximum on line 2C is 17.89%, compressional maximum on line 3C is 2.52%, and extensional maximum on line 3C is 0.15%.
