O Otot businator merupakan otot pipi yang berjalan paralel dari sudut mulut ke rafe pterigomandibular. Kontraksinya tidak mengganggu geligi tiruan lengkap tetapi hubungannya dengan permukaan poles bukal geligi tiruan lengkap dapat mempengaruhi stabilitas. Untuk itu perlu dibuat kontur sayap bukal yang baik dengan ketebalan yang cukup untuk berkontak dengan otot businator dan penempatan gigi pada neutral zone.

Its contractions do not interfere with complete dentures but their relationship to the buccal polished surfaces of complete dentures can affect stability.
