R Remote desktop merupakan sebuah aplikasi yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan suatu komputer melalui komputer lainnya. Aplikasi remote desktop ini merupakan aplikasi client server berbasis Java. Komputer Client akan melakukan koneksi dengan server, sehingga komputer Server harus memiliki IP publik agar bisa diakses oleh client. Aplikasi Remote desktop ini berperan untuk mengontrol komputer dari jarak tertentu dalam sebuah jaringan LAN, dan mengawasi setiap aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh user agar tidak terjadi penyalahgunaan komputer dan sumber daya lainnya. Aplikasi remote desktop ini berbasis java menggunakan Java Development Kit.Pada tugas akhir,akan dibahas bagaimana mengimplementasikan remote desktop ini dalam sebuah jaringan client server untuk melakukan pengawasan dan pengontrolan terhadap komputer lain yang terdapat di jaringan tersebut. Remote desktop ini telah menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi yang membantu administrator jaringan untuk melakukan pengawasan dalam jaringan client server.
R Remote Desktop is an application that is used to control a computer through another computer. Remote desktop application is a Java-based client server applications. Client computers will connect to the server, so the computer server must have a public IP to be accessed by the client. Remote desktop application is acting to control the computer from a certain distance in a LAN network, and monitor any activities carried out by the user in order to avoid misuse of computers and other resources. The application is java based remote desktop using Java Development Kit.In the final, will discuss how to implement this remote desktop in a client server network to conduct surveillance and control of other computers that are on the network. Remote desktop has produced an application that helps network administrators to conduct surveillance in a client server network.
