Abstrak
Abstract

T Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan persepsi calon sarjana jurusan akuntansi dan jurusan non akuntansi terhadap profesi akuntan publik. Persepsi di ukur oleh empat dimensi yaitu nilai pekerjaan, dinamika pekerjaan, keleluasaan kerja, sifat pekerjaan. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa jurusan akuntansi, manajemen, ilmu ekonomi, dan perpajakan di Universitas Trisakti. Seluruh data diproses sebelumnya dengan uji validitas uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas data dengan menggunakan kolmogrov-smirnov test, lalu di lakukan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji statistic parametrik dan uji statistik non-parametrik. Uji parametrik yang digunakan adalah Independen sample T-test dan uji non-parametrik yang digunakan adalah 2 Independen sample T-test menggunakan SPSS versi 15.0. Hasil analisis menunjukan tidak terdapat perbedaan persepsi calon sarjana jurusan akuntansi dan jurusan non akuntansi terhadap profesi akuntan publik. Dan tidak terdapat perbedaan persepsi calon sarjana jurusan akuntansi dan jurusan non akuntansi berdasarkan nilai pekerjaan, dinamika pekerjaan, keleluasaan kerja dan sifat pekerjaan.

T The purpose of this study was to determine whether there are differences in perceptions of the candidate's degree majoring in accounting and non accounting majors to the public accounting profession. Perception is measured by four dimensions, namely the value of the work, the dynamics of employment, freedom of work, nature of work. Respondents of this study were students majoring in accounting, management, economics, and taxation at the University of Trisakti. All data is processed prior to testing the validity of test reliability, test data for normality using kolmogrov-Smirnov test, and in doing hypothesis testing using parametric statistical tests and non-parametric statistical tests. Parametric test used is an Independent sample T-test and non-parametric test used was 2 Independent sample T-test using SPSS version 15.0. The analysis showed no differences in the perception of prospective graduate majoring in accounting and non accounting majors to the public accounting profession. And there is no difference in the perception of prospective graduate majoring in accounting and non accounting majors based on the value of the work, the dynamics of employment, freedom of work and nature of work.
