T This design is motivated by the proposal of the Malang City Government to realize the vision of a Dignified Malang City with a number of aspirations for the functions mentioned in the TOR. The design location is on Jalan Mayjen Sungkono, Arjowinangun Village, Kedungkandang District, Malang City, with the Worship Zone.The purpose of this design is to make design for the Islamic Center Malang based on TOR which serves to accommodate the activities of Muslims by using an eco-tech architectural approach. The method used is the analysis process through elements of Hamid Shirvani and Kathryn H. Anthony which is assisted by data collection through theories, regulations, and precedents so as to produce design criteria, design concepts, schematic drawings, and design development.The result of this design is to apply eco-tech architecture to the Islamic Center building which is realized in the form of working drawings in the form of block plans, tread plans, floor plans, views, pieces, and utilities. These eco-tech aspects, among others, appear in the form of green space as an aspect of urban response, the use of solar panels and water recycling as aspects of energy problems, the use of steel structures on building facades as an aspect of structural expression, the use of double glazing as an aspect of sculpting with light, the use of glass dome as a symbolic aspect of civil, as well as making the connection between the building and the outer space as an aspect of making connections.
