Berdasarkan World Health Organization (WHO) tahun 2020,(Covid-19) dinyatakan sebagai pandemi global.
W Women who experience pregnancy are those who have been pregnant from the time of fertilizationuntil the baby is born. Based on the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020, (Covid-19) wasdeclared a global pandemic. The virus known as SARS-CoV-2 can cause mild respiratory systemdisorders, life-threatening lung infections, and even death. There are still different views regardingthe relationship between Covid-19 infection and D-Dimer concentration in pregnancy. Theresearch results of Fauzan, Enjelina, and Pereira show that there is a relationship between Covid-19 infection and D-Dimer concentration in pregnancy. Meanwhile, the results of Afriani andLokken\'s research show that there is no relationship between Covid-19 infection and D-Dimerconcentration in pregnancy. This research aims to reduce the morbidity and mortality rates ofpregnant women in the third trimester due to Covid-19 infection.METHODThis study used an analytical observation design or a design using a cross-sectional method witha sample of 23 third trimester pregnant women to assess Covid-19 infection and D-Dimerconcentration. Sampling was carried out using a non-random consecutive sampling technique atRSPAD Gatot Soebroto Jakarta in June 2023.RESULTThe result obtained from this study were that pregnant women with Covid-19 had the most normalD-Dimer concentration, 55,6%, while pregnant women with multigravids had the most normal DDimerconcentration, 33,3%. Based on the results of the chi-square test, it was found that p≤ 0,05(p = 0.008). So it was found that there was a relationship between Covid-19 infection and D-Dimerconcentration in the third trimester of pregnancy.CONCLUSIONThere is a significant relationship between Covid-19 infection and D-Dimer concentration in thethird trimester of pregnancy.
