N Now days, Panjang Sea Port is the only place for custom clearance and it will has limit to serve one day. So, the government of Lampung Province plans to develop dry port as the alternative for custom clearances and cargo carrier to Panjang Sea port. The develop also supported by development of Trans Sumatra Railways.The aims to this research are to identify the interest value of dry port (cost and time) for exporter. Comparing between transporting cost and time travel from factory to Panjang Sea Port and if directly to dry port are used to analysis in this study.Results of this research are (1) Differences in the distance through the road crossing to the port, and when through the dry port near the same (distance)Results of research are (1) Differences in the distance through the road crossing to the port, and when through the dry port nearly the same (distance), it will provide opportunities dry port usage by prospective users. There are other factor that will affect the size of the transport cost, it is type of commodity that will transported, (2) Time travel when using the dry port services is more scheduled.
