Kata

C Changes in demand trends for the scooter type model decrease and the type of underbone increase which are produced in line 1 (one) assembling. Scooter type consists of 4 models and 10 variants with production of less than 3,000 units per month. Instead the underbone type consists of 1 model 2 variants with production of more than 10,000 units per month.. The assembling production plan (RPA) on line 1 is made with a mixed production method (heijunka). With the changing trend in demand, the Heijunka model currently used does not meet production requirements. There is a change of type more than 2 (two) times a day between the scooter type per 60 units (1 lot) of the underbone type, which eventually results in loss time and unstable quality.. Enterprise Resources Planning ( ERP ) at PT. SIM uses an Oracle system. At the beginning of each month, the MRP run part local order process is carried out to fix the order for 1 (one) month ahead and forecast for the next 4 (four) months. The time needed is more than 10 working days starting from the release order, packing the order document and entering it into the vendor box. Order documents published for 108 vendors require approximately 230 sheets of A4 paper for Part Order Sheet (POS), 20 boxes for Part Tag (PT) and 2 boxes for Delivery Note (DN). After the part is sent to PT SIM, the vendor will receive a Receiving Report (RR) printed by the PMC section and used to cross check the Billing Statment (BS) received from the Finance department before the payment billing process is made. The document has the risk of damage and loss. The purpose of this study is to produce a production system on time with the Heijunka model that matches line I requirements so that the product diversity of all models can be fulfilled according to the time and amount needed and change of type no more than 2 (two) times per day, have production flexibility, guaranteed quality, fulfilled and realistic consumer demand and designing a web-based part local order system.. The first step evaluates the Heijunka model by comparing the PT SIM method with heuristic and iterative methods. The result of PT SIM's heijunka model is better than the other two methods because all models with production volumes of less than 3,000 units per month can be produced in 4 working days while the Iteration method is in 5 working days and Heuristics in 7 working days. The second step makes the Heijunka algorithm per 180 units (3 lots) of the same color for the scooter type. The third step is to design and design web-based components local order information. The final step is validation using the User Accuracy Test (UAT). RPA line I is produced with the Heijunka model which is 180 units per skutic type and the same color, 180 unit type scooter variant namely XE312 NE P12, P14 and XE312 NB P12 with the same color, change of type no more than 2 (two) times a day. Order documents are uploaded and vendors can download directly on the SCS website so no printing time is needed, no risk of damage and loss including RR.
