T The characteristics of the incubation formation in the EDM process are veryinteresting to study because it is a complex process. Several processes occursimultaneously, namely the process of heat physics, chemistry and the process ofconverting electrical energy. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the volume andtemperature of the plasma that occurs during the cutting process. To find out theamount of plasma volume formed, an image will be taken directly using anendoscopic camera then the image is analyzed using CATIA which will formcartesian coordinates. The image will be divided into Cartesian coordinate units foreach plasma pattern in two-dimensional form. Cartesian coordinate points will forma plasma pattern on the image, from the plasma pattern formed using CATIA athree-dimensional shape will be obtained to get the plasma volume, then theequation for the Volume Current Function will be searched
