T The increase in population is accompanied by a rise in the demand for vegetables and fruits, without a proportional expansion of agricultural land due to the prevalent land use changes. Hydroponics emerges as a solution to cope with land limitations, offering high productivity and water efficiency while being adaptable to limited spaces. Hydroponic cultivation solely relies on a water-based medium, making nutrient maintenance a critical aspect However, this reliance poses limitations as hydroponic farmers need to regularly and manually check nutrient solutions, which can be time-consuming, prone to reading errors, and slow in detecting nutrient changes. To address these challenges, the advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) technology becomes crucial for enhancing hydroponic farming. This automated hydroponic system covers almost all aspects necessary for successful hydroponic cultivation. It includes plant age monitoring, temperature and humidity monitoring, control of water level, concentration or Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and acidity (pH) of nutrient solutions, along with visual monitoring through live streaming via an Android application. The research results in the development of an automated Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) hydroponic system that caters to plant needs, showcasing measurement outcomes and live streaming videos through an Android application. The measurement and control capabilities of the automated hydroponic system prove reliable, with an average TDS value of 602.29 ppm in the first week, 702.48 ppm in the second week, 805.12 ppm in the third week, 906.32 ppm in the fourth week, and 904.30 ppm in the fifth week. The average pH value is 6.19, and the water height is 20.89 cm. In comparison to external measuring tools, there is an average discrepancy of 1.04% for TDS value, 0.95% for pH value, and 0.15% for water level.
