S Sendi temporomandibular sulit dibayangkan dengan jelas karenaadanya gambaran superimpos dengan struktur-struktur sendi temporomandibular yangmengelilinginya. Banyak teknik radiografi menyulitkan doktergigi dalam pembuatannya, namun sebagai seorang dokter gigi untuk mendiagnosis kelainan, maka perlu pemeriksaan radiografi sendi temporomandibular Metode diagnosis sendi temporomandibular yang dapat dilakukan adalah proyeksi transkranial, proyeksi transfaryngeal, proyeksi A-P, proyeksi P-A mandibula, proyeksi panoramik, proyeksi Town's dan proyeksi transorbital. Proyeksi transkranial, proyeksi transfaryngeal, proyeksi A-P, proyeksi P-A mandibula, proyeksi panoramik, proyeksi Town's dan proyeksi transorbital dapat memperlihatkan kedudukan dari sendi temporomandibufar sedangkanprnyeksi panoramik kurang memberikan gambaran sendi temporomandibular yang jelas dan akurat.
T The temporomandibular joint is difficult to visualize clearly because of the superimposed appearance of the surrounding structures of the temporomandibular joint. Many radiographic techniques make it difficult for dentists to make them, but as a dentist to diagnose abnormalities, radiographic examination of the temporomandibular joint is necessary. Methods for diagnosing the temporomandibular joint that can be performed are transcranial projection, transpharyngeal projection, A-P projection, mandibular P-A projection, panoramic projection, Town's projection and transorbital projection. Transcranial projection, transpharyngeal projection, A-P projection, mandibular P-A projection, panoramic projection, Town's projection and transorbital projection can show the position of the temporomandibular joint whilePanoramic projection does not provide a clear and accurate view of the temporomandibular joint.
