H Hydrofluoric acid (HF) adalah salah satu jenis surface treatmentuntuk melekatkan gigi tiruan cekat berbahan lithium disilicate dengan semen resin. Penggunaan hydrofluoric acid dengan konsentrasi dan lama waktu aplikasi yang berbeda dapat mempengaruhi reaksi pelarutan matriks silica yang kemudian akan berpengaruh pada kekuatan ikat lithium disiilicate dengan semen resin. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui efektivitas konsentrasi dan lama waktu aplikasi hydrofluoric acid sebagai surface treatment terhadap kekuatan ikat lithium disilicate glass ceramic dengan semen resin melalui pendekatan scoping review. Metode: Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan diagram PRISMA dengan database PubMed dan SciELO dengan pencarian: ("hydrofluoric acid"[All Fields] OR "HF"[All Fields]) AND ("Lithium disilicate"[All Fields] OR "LS2"[All Fields] OR “Li2Si2O5”[All Fields] OR “Glass ceramics”[All Fields] OR “IPS e.max press”[All Fields] OR “IPS e.max CAD”[All Fields]) AND ("Bond strength"[All Fields]) AND (“resin cement”[All Fields] OR “adhesive cement”[All Fields]). Hasil: 10 artikel ditemukan sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi, kemudian dibagi berdasarkan jenis lithium disilicate, jenis semen resin, dan jenis uji kekuatan ikat yang digunakan. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan artikel yang ditemukan, didapatkan peningkatan konsentrasi dan waktu aplikasi hydrofluoric acid memiliki kecenderungan meningkatkan nilai kekuatan ikat antara lithium disilicate dengan semen resin jenis total etch dan self etch. Selain itu, didapatkan pula peningkatan konsentrasi dan waktu aplikasi hydrofluoric acid memiliki kecenderungan menurunkan nilai kekuatan ikat antara lithium disilicate dengan semen resin jenisself adhesive.

H Hydrofluoric acid (HF) is a surface treatment needed for bondinglithium disilicate restorations to a resin cement. Using hydrofluoric acid with different concentrations and application time affects the dissolution of the silica matrix which will affect the bond strength with the resin cement. Aim: The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of hydrofluoric acid concentration and application time on the bond strength of lithium disilicate glass ceramic to a resin cement through a scoping review approach. Method: This research utilizes the PRISMA diagram, based on PubMed and SciELO databases with the keywords of: ("hydrofluoric acid"[All Fields] OR "HF"[All Fields]) AND ("Lithium disilicate"[All Fields] OR "LS2"[All Fields] OR “Li2Si2O5”[All Fields] OR “Glass ceramics”[All Fields] OR “IPS e.max press”[All Fields] OR “IPS e.max CAD”[All Fields]) AND ("Bond strength"[All Fields]) AND (“resin cement”[All Fields] OR “adhesive cement”[All Fields]). Results: 10 articles were found according to the inclusion criteria, which then is divided into several groups based on the type of lithium disilicate, the type of resin cement, and the type of bonding strength test used. Conclusion: Based on the articles included in this study, it was found that increasing the concentration and application time of hydrofluoric acid had an tendency to increase bond strength between lithium disilicate with total etch and self etch resin cements. In addition, it was also found that increasing the concentration and application time of hydrofluoric acid had a tendency to decrease the bond strength between lithium disilicate and self-adhesive resin cements.
