D Debu dalam konsentrasi besar akan membahayakan kesehatan pekerja. Maksud dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui besaran kadar debu total serta pengaruhnya terhadap kesehatan pekerja pada PT. Semen Kupang.PT Semen Kupang mulai dibangun pada tanggal 1 Maret 1982 dan mulai beroperasi 16 Desember 1983. Peresmiannya dilakukan oleh Presiden Soeharto tanggal14 April 1984 dan sekaligus dimulai operasi secara komersial. Tahapan-tahapan dalamproses produksi PT Semen Kupang adalah Qu{f batu kapur dan tanah liat, crusher,'dryer, stacker, roller mill, pembakaran black mill, Inish mill (Ian Packer (~ngepakan).Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal . I Mei sampai 24 Met 2004, dengan pengambilan sampel dilakukan selama 6 hari kerja yang terbagi dalam 3 shift kerja per hari. Lokasi pengambilan sample kadar debu total dilakukan di lingkungan kerja raw material storage, finish mill dan packing plant. Pengambilan sampel debu dilakukan dengan metode gravimetri dan pembagian kuesioner terhadap pekerja dilakukan oada masmg-masing unit produksi. Kuesioner dibagikan untuk mengetahui umur, masa kerjadan keluhan penyakit yang dialami pekerja Sampel debu yang sudah diperoleh dan data kuesioner yang ada dianalisa menggunakan metode statistik pada program SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Sollution).Kadar debu total pada l~g!cungan ker.ja raw material sto~age sebesar 4,68 mg/m"3 ,finish mill sebesar 5,28 mg/m Clan packiiig plant 8,47 mg/m . Jumlah pekerja pada lingkungan tersebut ada 30 orang unfuk asin~-masing lokasi kerja. Berdasarkan basil kuesioner dapat dike~ui ~anya ke ihan geJala penyakit pada ra'Y material storage sebanyak 21 orang, finish mill 22 oran~, pacmng plant 24 orang. GeJala penyakit yang ada yaitu. berupa itlfeksi saluran .P_

T The high level of dust will be danger to worker health. This research is conducted in order to know the total level of dust and the connected by workers health at PT Cement Kupang.PT. Semen Kupang builded at March l " 1982 and started to operate at December 16 th of 1983. It's opening done by President Soeharto at April 14th 1984 and one blow started the operation commercially. Step in course of production of PT Cement Kupang is quarry of limestone and clay, crusher, dryer, stacker, roller mill, combustion of black mill, finish mill and packer. Research executed at date of May 18th until May 24th 2004, with intake sampel done by during six divisible workday in three shift work of day. Total Intake sample dust rate location conducted in environment work raw material storage, finish mill and packing plant. Intake sample dust conducted with method gravimetri division kuesioner and to worker at the job environment. Kuesioner alloted to know age, year of service disease sigh and experienced by worker. Obtained sample dust and analysed to existing data kuesioner use statistical methods of program SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Sollution). Rate of total dust at environment work raw material storage equal to 4,68 mg/rrr', finish mill equal to 5,28 mg/nr' and packing plant 8,4? mglm3 • Amount of worker at the environmentis 30 people to each location work. Pursuant to result of knowable kuesioner of existence of sigh of symptom of disease at raw material storage as much 21 people, finish mill 22 people, packing plant 24 people. Symptom of existing disease that is in the form of Accute Respiratory Infection ( ISPA) and eyes iritation.Pursuant to result analyse bivariate among rat of total dust with symptom trouble of Accute Respiratory Infection and eyes iritation there no relation nave a meaning of statistically(assess p 0, 1424),while result analyse among age and year. of ervice to symptom trouble Accute Respiratory Infection and eyes iritation show existence of relation have a meaning of statistically (assess p 0,0038 and p 0,0009). Result analyse multivariat indicate that year of service represent compared by most dominant factor rate of total dust and age of worker as factor of cause of infection of channel for and eyes irritation.Result of total dust rate measurement at location raw material storage, finish mill and packing plant still reside in under Value Float Boundary (NAB) specified by through Handbill. Menaker/01/1997that is equal to 10 mg/rrr'.Strive operation conducted with addition of appliance of arrester of dirt which still theminim, management and treatment of machine produce intensively and improvement of usage of appliance of health and working safety.
