K Kopi adalah salah satu minuman yang di gemari oleh setiap orang, bahkan hampir di seluruh belahan dunia. Hal ini lah yang membuat minum kopi menjadi salah satu budaya yang mclekat di masyarakat. Namun kebiasaan :- ang membudaya tersebut tidak lepas dari hal yang membawa dampak negatif bagi keschatan gigi dan rnulut. Dibalik nikmatnya secangkir kopi, temyata terdapat pengaruh buruk bagi kcsehatan gigi dan mulut. Kopi memiliki kandungan sepcrti kafein, trigonelin, asam kJorogenat dan asam nikotinat. Kandungan zat dalam kopi tersebut dapat menyebabkan berubahnya warna gigi serta adanya campuran gula pada secangkir kopi dapat rnenyebabkan terbentuknya plak dan kalkulus. Tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini adalah untuk rnengetahui pengaruh yang ditimbulkan oleh budaya mengkonsumsi kopi terhadap kesehatan mulut terutama pada gigi. Sebaiknya jangan mengkonsumsi kopi dengan kadar gula yang tinggi dalam jumlah yang berlebih karena akan menyebabkan pengaruh yang kurang baik pada kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Tetapi apabila anda adalah salah satu pengkonsurnsi berat minuman kopi, akan lebih baik apabila kebersihan mulut dijaga dengan baik, dengan begitu akan meminimalisasi terjadinya pengaruh yang kurang baik pad:i kesehatan gigi dan mulut.

C Coffee is one beverage that enjoy doing by any person, even in almost alI parts of the world. This is what makes drinking coffee became one of the inherent culture in society. But the entrenched habits that could not be separated from the things that have negatively impacted the health of your teeth and mouth. Behind the delicious cup of coffee, it turns out there is a bad influence on oral health. Coffee has caffeine content of such, trigonelin, chlorogenic acid and nicotinic acid. Substances in coffee may cause changes in tooth color and the presence of a mixture of sugar in a cup of coffee can cause the formation of plaque and calculus. The purpose of this thesis is to determine the effect caused by the culture of coffee consumption on oral health, especially in the teeth. Better not to consume coffee with a high sugar content in excess amount due will cause unfavorable effects on oral health. But if you are one of the heavy drinkers drink coffee, it would be better if oral hygiene is maintained properly, thus minimizing the occurrence of unfavorable effects on oral health.
