E Era globalisasi memicu terjadinya peningkatan bisnis yang lebih ketat, termasuk dengan bisnis consumer goods. Hal ini fah yang menuntut PT. Heinz ABC Indonesia (HAI) untuk melakukan manajemen sumber daya secara maksimal untuk dapat memenangkan pasar. Salah satunya adalah manajemen sumber daya manusia. Sebagai perusahaan yang berafiliasi secara global dengan H.J. Heinz Co. di Amerika Serikat, HAI turut menerapkan konsep Management By Objectives (MBO) sebagai metode mengukur kinerja karyawan yang juga digunakan di afiliasi lain, tidak terkecuali dengan Departemen Manufacturing. Konsep MBO ini digunakan sejak tahun 2014 dengan berdasarkan kepada Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Untuk menghasilkan model pengukuran kinerja Manufacturing, dilakukan analisis terhadap KPI Manufacturing, perancangan proses pengukuran kinerja, dan perancangan infrastruktur pengukuran kinerja. Berdasarkan studi literatur dan kuesioner dihasilkan lima KPI Manufacturing yang kemudian diberikan bobot menggunakan prinsip AHP (analytical hierarchy process), yaitu Operational Cost per Ton (7%), OEE Efficiency (18%), Food Safety Index (41%), Conformance to Plan (7%), dan Safety TRIR (27%). Selain kelima KPI tersebut, aspek Compliance to Regulations juga perlu dipertimbangkan. Proses pengukuran kinerja menggunakan table dashboard KPI Manufacturing dengan skor maksimum 100 poin. Infrastruktur pengukuran kinerja yang digunakan adalah tabel data hasil laporan sistem HAI dan kemudian dimasukan kedalam dashboard KPI Manufacturing.

This is what demands PT. Heinz ABC Indonesia (HAI) to perform optimal resource management in order to win the market. One of them is human resource management. As a globally affiliated company with H.J. Heinz Co. in the United States, HAI also applies the concept of Management By Objectives (MBO) as a method of measuring employee performance which is also used in other affiliates, including the Manufacturing Department. The MBO concept has been used since 2014 based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI). To produce a Manufacturing performance measurement model, an analysis of the Manufacturing KPI is carried out, the design of the performance measurement process, and the design of the performance measurement infrastructure. Based on the literature study and questionnaires, five Manufacturing KPIs were produced which were then given weights using the AHP (analytical hierarchy process) principle, namely Operational Cost per Ton (7%), OEE Efficiency (18%), Food Safety Index (41%), Conformance to Plan (7%), and Safety TRIR (27%).
