P Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji Pengaruh Ukuran Perusahaan, Financial Leverage dan Profitabilitas terhadap Income Smoothing dengan Kepemilikan Institusional sebagai Variabel Moderasi. Indeks Eckel digunakan untuk menentukan Income Smoothing. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 34 perusahaan dimana pengumpulan data menggunakan metode purposive sampling yang dilakukan terhadap perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2015-2017. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan model analisis regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Ukuran Perusahaan dan Financial Leverage tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap Income Smoothing. Kepemilikan Institusional tidak dapat memperlemah pengaruh Profitabilitas terhadap Income Smoothing. Hal yang sama bahwa Kepemilikan Institusional juga tidak dapat memperlemah pengaruh Financial Leverage terhadap Income Smoothing. Namun, Profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif terhadap Income Smoothing dan Kepemilikan Institusional dapat memperlemah pengaruh Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Income Smoothing.

T This study aims to examine The Effect of Firm Size, Financial Leverage and Profitability to Income Smoothing with Institutional Ownership as Moderating Variable. The Eckel Index is used fordetermine the practice of income smoothing. The sample of this research as many as 34 companies where the data collection using purposive sampling method carried out against a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2017. Hypothesis testing using regression analysis model logistics. The results of this study showed that Firm Size and Financial Leverage do not have positive effect on Income Smoothing. Institutional ownership cannot weaken the effect of probability on income smoothing. The same thing with Institusional Ownership also cannot weaken the effect of Financial Leverage on Income Smoothing. However, Profitability has a negative effect on Income Smoothing and Institutional Ownership can weaken the effect of Firm Size on Income Smoothing
