P Penggunaan zat aditif tambahan pada semen merupakan hal yang seringdilakukan dalam operasi penyemenan suatu sumur, baik sumur minyak, gas, ataupanas bumi. Oleh karena itu kita harus mengetahui apa saja dampak dan kegunaanpenambahan zat aditif yang kita gunakan.Dengan mengetahui sifat-sifat fisik semen setelah di tambahkan zat aditiftertentu maka permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada perencanaan kegiatanpenyemenan adalah penentuan campuran bubur semen yang tepat dan sesuaidengan kondisi sumur yang menjadi target penyemenan dapat teratasi. Bubursemen terlebih dahulu dirancang sedemikian rupa dan juga di uji tingkatkelayakannya sebelum digunakan untuk penyemenan, sehingga sesuai dengankarakteristik sumur target penyemenan. Berbagai zat additive digunakan bertujuanuntuk memaksimalkan formulasi bubur semen yang disesuaikan dengankarakteristik sumur yang akan disemen.Penelitian kali ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahankonsentrasi zat additive yang berperan sebagai special aditif, yaitu “defoamer”,yang dilakukan pada variasi temperatur BHCT (30°C dan 80°C) terhadapthickening time dan compressive strength. Tes laboratorium dilakukan denganbahan dasar semen bubuk kelas A dan G, air mineral dan additive tersebut.

T The use of additional additives on cement is often done in cementingoperations of a well, either oil, gas, or geothermal wells. Therefore we must knowwhat the impact and usefulness of adding additives that we use. By knowing thephysical properties of cement after adding a certain additive then the problem thatoften occurs in the planning of cementing activities is the determination of theappropriate mixture of cement slurry and in accordance with the conditions of thewell that the target cementing can be overcome. The cement slurry is firstdesigned in such a way and also in the feasibility test before being used forcementing, so that it fits the well characteristics of cementing targets. Variousadditive substances are used to maximize the cement slurry formulation adapted tothe characteristics of the well to be cemented. This study was conducted todetermine the effect of adding additive concentration which acts as a specialadditive, namely "defoamer", which is done on variations of BHCT temperature(30°C and 80°C) against thickening time and compressive strength. Laboratorytests are carried out with the base material of class A and G cement powder,mineral water and the additive. From this research, it was found that the additionof additive special additive to decrease the value of thickening time but willincrease again in percentage of certain additive level and also have influence tocompressive strength value although not very significant. The change ofcompressive strength is caused by temperature change factor, drying process at atemperature of 80°C with additive additions up to 2% indicates 3995 psi and 3200psi at 30°C.
