P Pada umumnya potensi cadangan minyak tersisa setelah tahap awalpengurasan atau “primary recovery” masih cukup besar. Kemudian tekananreservoir akan menurun pada saat operasi produksi menyebabkan produksi akanmenurun, dimana selanjutnya di lakukan “secondary recovery” yang bertujuanuntuk mempertahankan tekanan reservoir dan mendorong minyak tersisa setelahtahap awal pengurasan,walaupun secondary recovery telah di lakukan minyakyang tersisa di reservoir masih cukup banyak. Upaya untuk mengurangi minyaktersisa di dalam reservoir tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan metodeenhanced oil recovery atau metode perolehan minyak tahap “tertiary” .Pada penelitian ini akan melakukan percobaan injeksi polimer dengan limakonsentrasi yaitu konsentrasi 200 ppm, 400 ppm, 600 ppm, 800 ppm, 1000 ppm.Dari lima konsentrasi ini akan dilakukan pengukuran densitas, tegangan antarmuka, viskositas, saturasi oil residu, serta recovery factor total. Dan dari limakonsentrasi ini akan dilakukan lima langkah percobaan yaitu langkah pertamasaturasi air formasi, saturasi minyak, injeksi air (secondary recovery), injeksipolimer (tertiary recovery), dan preflush.Dari percobaan lima konsentrasi yang ada mendapatkan recovery factortotal paling besar pada konsentrasi injeksi polimer 600 ppm yaitu sebesar 80%dan juga mendapatkan saturasi oil residu paling baik pada konsentrasi injeksipolimer 600 ppm yaitu 22,2%.

And fromfive concentrations will be conducted five experiments step is the first step ofwater saturation, saturation oil, water injection (secondary recovery), polymerinjection (tertiary recovery), and preflush .Of the five concentrations of existing experiments to get the greatesttotal recovery factor on the polymer injection concentration of 600 ppm is equalto 80 % and also get the best residual oil saturation in the polymer injectionconcentration of 600 ppm is 22.2 % .
