Abstract

R Rolled tongue adalah kemampuan seseorang untuk membengkokkan kedua sisi tepi lateral lidah menjadi seperti bentuk tabung atau U. Salah satu yang berperan dalam hal ini ialah faktor genetika. Rolled tongue merupakan salah satu contoh variasi yang bersifat normal yang tidak mengganggu fungsi lidah baik secara anatomis maupun fisiologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pewarisan rolled tongue secara genetik serta menjelaskan pola pewarisan genetik pada garis keturunan yang mewariskan rolled tongue. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan observasi pada tiga garis keturunan keluarga dimulai dari parental, F1 dan F2. Pengumpulan data diambil dengan cara mengamati dan mendokumentasikan gambar subjek penelitian dari ketiga garis keturunan keluarga selanjutnya dilakukan penentuan fenotipe maupun genotipe. Dari hasil analisis data fenotipe dan genotipe yang telah dilakukan dapat dilihat hasil persentase dari beberapa garis keturunan keluarga yang mewariskan rolled tongue.

R Rolled tongue is ability of a person to bend both sides of the lateral edge of the tongue into a tube like shape or U. Genetics is ones of the factor that plays a role in this case. Rolled tongue is one example of that is a normal variation that does not interfere with the function of the tongue both anatomically and physiologically. This study aims to prove the genetic inheritance of rolled tongue and explain patterns of genetic inheritance bequeathed lineage rolled tongue. This research doing by observation of a three family lineage starts from the parental, F1 and F2. The collection of data collected by observing and documenting images of the three research subjects then performed family lineage phenotype and genotype determination. From the results of genetic and phenotypic data analysis that has been done can be seen the percentage of multiple family lineage of rolled tongue pass from one generation filial generation filial increase in the percentage of F1 to F2, this is because the number of individuals who are able to roll the tongue more and more from generation to next generation it can be concluded that the pattern of inheritance of rolled tongue autosomal dominant has inherited according to Mendel's laws.
