T The purpose of this research is to anal yze impacts of the global financial crisis on food security and to determine the relationship between the structure, conduct and performance of the food processing industry in realizing food diversity for achieving food security. This research employed 9 groups of 5 digits KBLI code of food industry in 1996-2009 periods. The analyzed method is based on panel data using simultaneous equation model. The results show that there is a simultaneous relation between structure, conduct and perfom1ance of food industry and food security. Market structure of food industry become more concentrated in that period .GFC impacted on structure conduct and performance of food industry.
