T The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of of Ethical Leadership on Employee Performance mediated by Employee Engagement at PT. VWX in Jakarta. The method used to collect data in this research is a survey method using a questionnaire instrument. The technique to collect sampels is by using the census method on the employees of PT. VWX as many as 121 employees. The method used to analyze the data is by using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with Amos version 23.0.The average value of descriptive statistics for Ethical Leadership was 4.0645, Employee Engagement was 3.4669, Employee Performance was 4.0138. Based on the results of the hypothesis test it can be concluded that: (1) Ethical Leadership on Employee Performance has a significant positive effect, (2). Ethical Leadership on Employee Engagement has a significant positive effect, (3). Employee Engagement on Employee Performance is not significant, (4). There is no significant effect of Ethical Leadership on Employee Performance through Employee Engagement. Associated with the analysis of Ethical Leadership variables with the lowest average value of 3.802, to enhance ethical leadership in the company manager PT. VWX is expected to be able to apply stricter and more consistent penalties to its employees who violate the Standard Operational set by the company. Associated with the analysis of Employee Engagement variables with the lowest average value of 2.950. To increase employee Engagement to the company manager, PT. VWX is expected to be able to evaluate factors that can affect employee engagement such as: work environment, team and colleagues, compensation, organizational policies. Associated with the analysis of the Employee Performance variable with the lowest value of 3,983, this shows that employees still do not understand the JobPerformance Assessment (PPK or Performance Appraisal) in PT.VWX. Managers are expected to be able to change the performance appraisal system so that it is easier to use so employees or managers can improve their performance.
